Booked a KLM ticket but wanted the miles to go to Virgin. A few days before the trip, I had Flying Blue remove my FB number from the booking and they even confirmed it. After the flight though, it still auto credited to Flying Blue, probably because of some backend profile link. Now FB says they can’t undo it, and Virgin won’t credit anything unless FB releases the segment.
I’ve got an escalated case with Flying Blue IT, but I’m worried they’ll keep insisting it “can’t be reversed.”
Has anyone actually gotten Flying Blue to remove mistakenly credited miles? Can KLM override them on partner credit stuff? Does Virgin’s team ever push KLM to release a flown segment? I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s dealt with this mess.
