Just got back from a two-week trip through Dublin, Amsterdam, Valencia, Paris, and London, flying business class the whole way with Air France, KLM, and Virgin Atlantic. I’d saved up points for years, and wow, those long-haul lie-flat seats were game changers. On Air France, the crew kept my water topped up, brought extra blankets, and served the best duck salad I’ve ever had on a plane. Virgin Atlantic had a mid-flight snack lounge where I may have eaten too many cookies.
Not every leg was glamorous though KLM’s short Cityhopper flights just had slightly better seats than economy and no meals, so probably not worth the upgrade for such quick hops. But arriving rested and fed after long flights made the trip feel even more special.
Have you ever splurged on business class for a big adventure?
