Florida national parks are back open after Hurricane Ian

Glad to see Biscayne mostly dodged the worst of it, but wow, the cleanup in Everglades and Dry Tortugas sounds like it’s going to take a while. I’ve done backcountry camping in Big Cypress before, and that terrain doesn’t bounce back easily. Flooded trails, downed trees, and damaged docks are no joke. Still, if you're willing to be flexible and careful, it might be a rare chance to see these parks in a quieter, slower state while the crowds hold off.

Anyone planning a trip down there soon, or waiting it out until more areas reopen?
