Was booking Heathrow to Bristol through Busbud. Two options came up: National Express at £79 and FlixBus at £29 for two passengers. Obviously picked Flix.
Got to checkout, selected Google Pay, and suddenly the price jumps to £56. Thought maybe I missed something and it was per person, but nowhere did it say that. Then the payment failed and I got a message saying FlixBus had changed the price while I was booking.
At that point I was already annoyed, but £56 was still cheaper than the alternative so I just accepted and paid. Would’ve picked it anyway if it had been shown honestly from the start, but the way it happened felt really shady.
Just needed to rant. Curious if others have seen this or if I somehow missed a fee buried somewhere.
