FlixBus N803 stuck on the A1 for hours… did anyone actually make it to Paris?

Was anyone else on FlixBus N803 from Amsterdam to Paris that got stuck on the A1 for what felt like forever because of snow, traffic, and protests?


I was one of the four passengers who gave up after about five hours. I had a Lisbon connection at 11:30 and knew it was already a lost cause. We climbed over a snow covered gate with all our luggage, walked to a nearby village, somehow got an Uber, and made it to Paris on our own for about €40 each.


Last update I saw was around 1 p.m. and the bus still hadn’t arrived. Genuinely curious if it ever did, and how long it took in the end.


First FlixBus experience for me. I get that the situation wasn’t fully their fault, but no updates, language barrier with the drivers, people getting sick… yeah, I’ll avoid it if I can.
