I noticed that Flighty is showing a minimum recommended connection time of around 2 hours at Phoenix, which feels surprisingly conservative to me.
My itinerary has a connection of 2 hours and 8 minutes between flights, arriving at Terminal 4 and departing from Terminal 3. The app labels it as only slightly above the suggested minimum and still considers it somewhat risky.
This trip is on June 27, so I’m wondering if the recommendation is being influenced by expected holiday travel volume leading into the July 4 period, or if Phoenix genuinely requires that much connection time.
It just seems like a longer recommendation than I would have expected.
