On a recent flight with Southwest Airlines, I had a frustrating experience during the beverage service. A flight attendant asked for my drink choice, I requested a Canada Dry but when drinks were distributed, everyone around me received theirs except me.
Since I couldn’t get her attention as she moved quickly through the aisle, I waited until service was over and then politely approached another attendant to ask for my drink. Instead of helping, I was told in an irritated tone that I should have been awake when drinks were being served.
For context, I was fully awake the entire time, not wearing headphones, and actively engaged when orders were being taken. It seemed more likely that my order was either missed or not recorded, which made the response feel unfair and dismissive
