Just got off a long-haul in Polaris on the 787-10, and I’ve got mixed feelings. The seat itself is great for privacy and storage super comfortable once you’re settled in, but getting in and out when it’s in bed mode is tight. The Saks bedding is still top notch, though they didn’t have the gel pillow this time.
Food was okay I had the short rib, which was fine but nothing memorable. The ice cream sundae cart is still a win. IFE screen was sharp with good selection, but the touchscreen lagged a bit. The lighting and cabin design, though, really make the space feel calm.
Overall, still a solid business product, but service can make or break it. On this flight, crew was friendly and proactive, so it felt closer to the Polaris experience we all hope for.
