Hit Gold with United this year and have matching status with Delta and American, so I ended up flying all three in their extra legroom economy cabins.
United Economy Plus and AA Main Cabin Extra honestly felt the same to me. More legroom, and that is about it. No real difference in service from regular economy.
Delta Comfort+ was the only one that actually felt like a step up. Multiple snack passes, you can grab more than one item, and an extra drink service. Small things, but it made it feel like you were getting something more than just a few extra inches of space.
At this point extra legroom alone feels pretty standard. Delta was the only one where I noticed a real difference in the overall experience.
Anyone else had a similar comparison recently?
