Just did a bunch of Thanksgiving travel through Tampa, St. Louis, and Des Moines, and for the first time since COVID every single flight was wide open. One of them out of TPA had the entire back half of the plane empty. FA even said we had “over 100 open seats.”
Totally not normal for this route, we’ve flown it pretty much every Thanksgiving since 2018 and it’s always packed. Even in September it was full.
Anyone else seeing this? Feels super weird.
