If you're traveling through Monmouth or Ocean counties in NJ, heads up, it’s storm chaos out here. Parts of Long Beach Island are flooded, especially near Spray Beach, and major roads like Long Beach Boulevard were closed. Flash flood warnings are extended till late tonight, and some areas are already seeing 2+ inches of rainfall. Little Egg Harbor and Beach Haven are dealing with submerged roads and stranded cars. It’s serious.
Shows like Steel Magnolias and The Head and the Heart concert at Stone Pony have been canceled. Power’s out in parts of Ocean and Monmouth, and police are begging people not to drive through flooded streets. If you're local or nearby, how’s it looking by you? And any tips on alternate routes?
