I get the need to fix traffic around Stribling and 463- it's a mess during school drop-off. But five lanes? That’s not just about solving congestion. It’s a welcome mat for developers, and folks in Lake Caroline are right to be cautious. We’ve seen it before: the wider the road, the more likely you’ll get gas stations, strip malls, and everything that slowly chips away at the residential vibe.
Improving flow is fine, but I hope they’re thinking long-term about what kind of place this road turns into in five years. Anyone else feel like we always end up trading peace and quiet for “progress”?
