This was my first visit to Paris, and I went in with fairly low expectations because I had heard negative things about the city, such as it being dirty, crowded, and unfriendly. However, my experience turned out to be the opposite.
The city felt clean, and the locals were generally friendly and helpful, including public transport staff.
During my stay, I visited several major landmarks and attractions, including the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe, Jardin du Luxembourg, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Parc des Princes. I also spent time in parks, visited Petit Palais, Square Louise Michel, Galeries Lafayette, and went on a Seine river cruise.
One thing that stood out was how fashion-conscious people are in Paris. Many people looked stylish and relaxed, and I often found myself observing people on the metro or along the Seine.
I also noticed the city has a lot of green spaces and well-developed cycling infrastructure, with many people choosing bikes over public transport.
The main downsides were the crowds at popular attractions and occasional language barriers, as not everyone spoke English, which sometimes required gestures or translation apps.
Overall, I really enjoyed the trip and would like to return again.
