I’m planning a trip to stay at the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, where current rates are around 18 million VND per night, so it’s quite expensive. This made me consider whether joining IHG One Rewards or upgrading to InterContinental Ambassador would be worth it.

On paper, the Ambassador membership seems like it could easily pay for itself if I stay at least two nights over a weekend, since one night would be free. However, I’ve also heard there are restrictions such as specific booking rates and potential limitations depending on availability.
