Did PVG→LAX in Polaris for the first time and I don’t think I can ever go back to the blue/purple seats. The lie-flat bed with the mattress pad, the pajamas, the crew, the sundae cart all of it was way better than I expected.
Paid 30k miles + $600 to upgrade from economy, which feels like a total steal now. Even got into the Polaris lounge on arrival at LAX for a shower before my connection.
United really nailed the long-haul premium experience on this one.
