I’ve been loyal to Marriott International for years and currently hold Platinum status, but recently I had to book a IHG Hotels & Resorts property during a road trip because it was the only place that allowed a very late check-in around 3 AM.
That experience led me to explore more IHG properties, and this past weekend I stayed at the Fallsview hotel near Niagara Falls in Canada.
I was genuinely impressed, the service was excellent, the location was ideal, and the room view overlooking the falls was stunning. It completely exceeded my expectations.
If this is the typical standard across IHG properties, I may seriously consider switching my loyalty.
