I’m mid 20s, from Argentina, and planning my first ever solo trip this summer (late July to early August, about 15 to 20 days). I’ve never been to Europe before. I’d love England, Wales, or Ireland but they’re sadly out of my budget.
Right now I’m looking at places that are pretty, affordable, and have some history plus beaches. Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, and maybe Romania came to mind, but I’m a bit nervous about safety and scams since it’s my first solo trip.
I’m not big on nightlife. I mostly want to walk around on my own, explore, and feel safe doing it.
Are there other European cities or countries you’d recommend for a first solo trip like this? And anything I should be especially careful about?
Any tips are very welcome. Planning this alone feels exciting but also a bit scary
