This was my first time flying with Qatar Airways, covering the route Manila to Doha and then Doha to Berlin, and overall the journey went smoothly.
However, on the Doha to Berlin segment, which was around 7 hours, we were only served one meal. I was expecting two meals for a flight of that duration, and by the last few hours many passengers seemed quite hungry. The flight was not full and I even had the entire middle row to myself, so I am not sure if that affected service.
We decided to proceed with the trip instead of canceling despite the ongoing situation in the Middle East, mainly to avoid complications with refunds.
On a lighter note, I also noticed an interesting KAWS statue near gate area C13 in the departure section.
Is it normal to receive only one meal on a flight like this?
