Sailing Royal Princess to Alaska and the dining options are kind of overwhelming for a first timer.
We already booked one specialty restaurant and one night of room service. But I keep seeing people mention MDR, buffet, pizza, sushi, etc and I’m not totally sure how it all fits together.
MDR is main dining room right? Is that included? Can you just walk up for dinner or do you need reservations? Is there usually a wait?
Also really interested in the sushi spot but I don’t see it as a reservable option in the app. Is that walk up only?
Would love a simple breakdown of what’s included vs extra and how flexible dinner is night to night.
