Finnair + Cathay codeshare… bags checked through?

Booked HEL to HKG through Cathay. First leg is HEL to AMS on Finnair, then AMS to HKG on Cathay.

Since it’s a codeshare on one ticket, will bags normally be checked all the way through to Hong Kong? Or do we need to collect and recheck in Amsterdam?

Also, when checking in for the first leg with Finnair, should we receive boarding passes for the AMS to HKG leg as well?

Just trying to avoid any surprises in AMS.
