My partner and I both work remote and we keep running into the same issue. We need two separate rooms so we can be on calls at the same time.
Studios don’t work. Big open lofts don’t work. Even some “1 bedroom” places don’t really work if the living area is basically the same space acoustically.
We don’t want coworking spaces and noise canceling headphones aren’t enough. We genuinely need two closed off rooms with doors.
How are you filtering for this on Airbnb or Booking? Do you just search 2 bedroom only? Message hosts to confirm doors? Any keywords that help avoid those half wall or sliding partition setups?
Would love any practical tips because this has been way harder than expected.
