Been digging through travel insurance again because I’m planning a pretty full-throttle trip next year skydiving, cliff diving, maybe some caving or scuba at depth. Honestly, it’s wild how many adventure-friendly plans actually exclude the good stuff unless you read the fine print or pay extra.
Looks like Travelex’s Ultimate plan with the adventure sports add-on might finally cover what I need. It’s one of the few that actually includes skydiving and bungee jumping if you buy the upgradeand they’ve got $250K for medical and up to $1M for evacuation. Also saw that WorldTrips and Travel Insured International offer decent options too, but their extreme sports coverage depends on what state you live in.
Anyone actually made a claim with one of these companies? Curious how smooth (or not) that process was.
