Been holding onto Ambassador Elite for years and honestly feel kinda silly looking back. I kept doing all sorts of nonsense runs just to close the gap on nights or spend because I kept believing the “once personal ambassadors return, it’ll be worth it” line.
They’re back… and yeah, it’s basically nothing. Mine mostly just forwards stuff to the hotel and calls it a day. The “24/7 support” is hit or miss, and a bunch of resorts don’t honor anything anyway. Titanium and Platinum already get treated the same at most places.
Needing 23k spend and 100 nights for perks that barely exist just feels pointless now. My breaking point was when my ambassador told me there was “no way” to get a New Year’s Eve booking, I called the hotel myself and had it solved in 15 minutes.
I’m Lifetime Platinum, so I’m not walking away completely, but I’m definitely splitting stays with Accor. Ambassador just isn’t worth chasing anymore.
