Only a small number of Spirit aircraft remain active, mainly being ferried to desert storage locations this weekend.
The last aircraft based at MCO and LAS appear to be scheduled for ferry flights today, based on tracking data.
These ferry flights are expected to represent the final movements operated under the Spirit callsign and its operating certificate.
The final Spirit flight is currently expected to be the DTW-based aircraft N686NK, which is also scheduled to be ferried out.
It is also understood that two aircraft undergoing maintenance at SAL have already been returned to their lessors.
