This was our third MSC cruise and we came in expecting great things after two solid trips on Meraviglia. Booked an Aurea infinite ocean view and loved the layout, but the room itself was a mess from the moment we walked in. Toilet hadn’t been cleaned, no toilet paper, random food pieces by the nightstand, a blood stained blanket under the bed, even old socks in a drawer. We ended up cleaning half of it ourselves just to get settled.
Had to wait over an hour for basic stuff like TP and washcloths and missed sail away because of it. The whole cabin just felt dirty and MSC didn’t offer anything to make it right.
Really disappointed because we loved MSC until now, but hard to keep giving them money after an experience like that.
