Feels like Southwest lost what made it… Southwest

I used to like Southwest because it felt simple. Cheap fares, free bags, open seating, no games.

Now it feels like everything is getting layered with fees and changes. Paying for bags, more expensive fares, and assigned seating on top of that.

At some point it just stops feeling like Southwest and starts feeling like every other airline.

I get that things change, but this feels like a pretty big shift from what made them stand out in the first place.
