Planning a trip to Greece in the next couple of weeks and I keep seeing a lot of concern online about fuel shortages and EES potentially causing long delays (like 2–4 hours).
I understand nobody can predict everything, but I’m trying to get a more realistic idea of what to expect.
I also have a question about connections:
If I have a 2-hour layover in Rome before continuing to Greece, is that usually enough time, or is that risky under current conditions?
Right now I’m hesitant about booking because I’ve seen posts about people getting stuck in countries for days and flights being cancelled due to operational issues. On top of that, there’s talk about fuel shortages affecting schedules.
Is this actually something to seriously worry about, or is it being exaggerated? Would you still go ahead with travel plans?
