Honestly, I’m glad to see that too.
Nothing worse than sitting up front and watching half the back of the plane stuff their bags in row 5, then you board and there’s zero space left near your seat.
Even if the flight isn’t full, it sets the right tone. Use the bins near your row. Not complicated.
The deadheading FA seat shuffle is kind of funny though. Letting him move once things were sorted feels very “internal policy.” Hard to imagine they’d be that flexible if a random passenger asked mid boarding.
Still, at least someone was actively managing the cabin instead of letting it turn into overhead bin hunger games.
