Wild experience flying home with my teenage niece. She realized she left her headphones and asked an FA if she could do anything. Another FA actually told her to step off the plane and grab them. Next thing I know, she’s gone.
Turns out she tried to exit, set off alarms, security rushed over, and she almost wasn’t allowed back on. Pilot apologized and even said the crew never should’ve let her deplane. My niece came back shaken and in tears, security had to file a report.
Still can’t believe they told her to just walk off like that.
