I’m a 18-year-old female solo traveler and I’m wondering what it’s like to stay in a mixed dorm hostel.
I’ll be staying in Barcelona in a couple of weeks in a mixed 6-bed dorm at a well-rated hostel. I chose it mainly to save money, but now I’m starting to feel quite nervous because people around me are making me feel uneasy about it.
Has anyone here, especially other female solo travelers, had experience staying in mixed dorms? I’d really like to know what it’s actually like and whether my concerns are valid or if it’s generally fine in practice.
