Had a weird call with Expedia before my New York trip. My return flight got canceled by Iberia, and Expedia told me to call their Denmark customer service to add one more hotel night. The agent spent half an hour fumbling around, then suddenly asked for my full credit card number, expiration date, and CVV so he could “book it manually.”
Felt off, so I said no and just paid the hotel myself. Still wondering though is that normal for Expedia support to ask for full card info over the phone?
