Exit row seat E… does it actually have legroom?

This is one of those seat map questions that always ends up being more confusing than it should be.

From what I’ve seen, in exit rows the middle seats (like E) usually do get extra legroom too, but sometimes there’s a catch like limited recline or a weird seat shape depending on the aircraft.

The “P” usually means something like “preferred” or a paid seat category, not necessarily anything special about the seat itself.

I’d double check the exact aircraft on something like SeatGuru or Aerolopa because exit rows can vary a lot.
