Hi everyone,
I’ve finally managed to book my first business class flights using an Amex voucher after working toward it for about 12 months. I’m close to 50, so it’s taken quite some time to collect the points. I’m not very experienced with flying, so I’ve been reading through discussions here to learn more.
Our itinerary is from London to Chile, then Argentina back to London. I believe the outbound flight has the older-style business class, which still seems quite good. We’re unable to reserve seats without paying a significant fee, so we’re hoping to be seated close to each other. For the return leg, seat selection apparently isn’t available until check-in, so it’s unclear whether it will be the older or newer cabin configuration—possibly giving us the chance to experience both.
These are long-haul flights, so I’m hoping everything goes smoothly and that it’s an enjoyable experience. I’ll continue following this forum for tips on making the most of business class travel. Has anyone taken this route before?
