I had a fantastic experience at the Grand Hyatt Dubai. I didn’t have enough points, so I booked with cash. Since I reserved well in advance, six nights in a Superior Room came out to just over $1,300 USD. They were able to configure the room with four single beds, which saved us from having to book two connecting rooms.
Rates have increased since the waterpark opened, but it’s an easy walk from the hotel and well staffed. I even lost a necklace at the FlowRider, and the team found it and returned it to my room really impressive service.
I added club access, though since I was traveling with kids, we couldn’t use the actual lounge space. Still, it included breakfast at multiple restaurants (6:30am–11am) and a dinner buffet at Market Café from 6pm–8pm.
There’s also a shuttle to Dubai Mall, and taxis in Dubai are inexpensive and easy to use.
