On my last trip to Disneyland, I managed to snag the Screamer of the Day title at the Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue ride and it was so worth the early wake-up. Cast Members choose the first lucky guest or family to ride and give them a Lightning Lane pass to ride again later, plus a collectible timecard and a spot in the Screamer’s signature book. No way to guarantee it, but arriving early and showing off your Monsters Inc. fandom definitely helps!
This fun little experience is one of those uniquely Disneyland touches, and I’ll be sad to see it disappear when the ride closes in 2026 for the upcoming Avatar expansion.
