Ethiopian Airlines really does feel like the backbone of African aviation

I've flown them a few times now, including a long-haul in Cloud Nine, and I get why they’re considered Africa’s top airline. The 787 and A350 are solid modern, quiet, and way more comfortable than I expected. Addis isn’t the best airport to transit through definitely some crowding, but once onboard, it feels like they’ve prioritized reliability and practicality over glitz. Service is straightforward but polite, and I liked the local meal touches.

Honestly, they’ve become my go-to for Africa -Asia flights just based on consistency alone.Image
