Emirates schedule change, requesting earlier reschedule

I received an email today informing me that my flight schedule has been changed without my approval, with instructions to contact Emirates.

I would like to see if it’s possible to reschedule the flight to an earlier date instead. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation, and what are the chances the airline will accommodate this request?

Any advice on how to improve the likelihood of getting the preferred change would be appreciated.

Edit: I called Emirates and they were able to make the change I wanted, including a shorter layover time. Thanks for the responses.
