Their flight itself wasn’t cancelled, but when they arrived at the airport they were refused check-in because they were only transiting through Dubai. Apparently the airline had instructions to only allow passengers whose final destination was Dubai.
What’s frustrating is that this traveler had already been dealing with cancellations since Feb 28 and rebooked multiple times just to get this flight.
Now they’re stuck again and not even sure if tomorrow will be any different.
