Staying here wasn’t my choice client booked through Concur but wow, I should’ve pushed back. Place looked rough from the outside, including a car in the lot with bullet holes. Room was worn and not super clean, but I figured I’d just nap after a long day.
About 20 minutes in, someone (maybe housekeeping?) just walked straight into my room while I was asleep. No knock. Later, right as I’m stepping out of the shower, a guy walks in claiming he’s “maintenance to fix the safe.” Again, no knock.
That was it for me. Checked out immediately and told my client. Front desk manager was apologetic and comped everything, but the whole stay was one giant red flag.
