Elderly cruise passenger found dead on Lizard Island after going missing

Such a sad story. The woman was on a Coral Expeditions cruise and got separated from her hiking group on Lizard Island. She turned back alone, and they didn’t realize she hadn’t made it back to the ship for hours. Her body was found not far from the trail. Really heartbreaking especially knowing she wasn’t far from safety.
