I have a work trip on Monday for a conference, and I just realized my flight is scheduled for 6am from the airport that is about two hours away from where I live.
This means I would need to leave my home around 2–3am just to arrive by roughly 4am, which feels quite exhausting and not ideal, especially given the early hour.
I’m considering the option of driving up the night before and resting in my car near the airport instead of making the overnight drive. However, I’m unsure if this is something commonly done or if it might be frowned upon or restricted at airports.
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? Is sleeping in your car at or near the airport a practical option, or are there better alternatives I should consider?
