I’m preparing for an Alaska cruise on the Royal Princess in about a month and have my port-day and dining outfits sorted already.
For time spent on the ship during sea days, I’m looking for advice on appropriate attire. I’m considering mostly casual and comfortable clothing such as lounge wear, yoga pants, jeans, hoodies, and similar outfits. I’m wondering if this level of casual dress is acceptable onboard.
I’d also like guidance on what the onboard temperatures are typically like during the day. Should I primarily pack long sleeves, or is it reasonable to bring t-shirts with a hoodie or jacket for layering?
Additionally, I’m curious whether the ship’s pools are heated, as I’ve seen conflicting information about this.
Any advice on how to dress comfortably and prepare for sea days would be appreciated.
