Does United's Status Challenge Really Only Require Two Flights?

I entered a New York City ZIP code while signing up for United's status challenge, and the requirements shown during registration seem surprisingly low. According to what I'm seeing, it looks like I only need to complete two flights to qualify.

Is this offer actually legitimate, or am I missing something in the fine print?
