Does Delta Comfort+ really have its own overhead bin space?

Delta’s site says Comfort+ comes with “dedicated overhead bin space,” and my ticket mentions it too. But I’ve seen people here say that’s not actually enforced.

If that’s true, how does it work? You board early enough that bins should still be open, right? First has their own space, so where does Comfort’s fit in?

First time flying Comfort+, just trying to understand what to expect.
