I’m based in Germany and don’t fly American Airlines very often, but I booked them for a summer trip since the price was decent.
Outbound will be FRA → CLT → MCO in Economy. On the return I’m flying MCO → CLT in First and then CLT → FRA in Business.
What’s confusing me is the wording. My ticket just says “Business”, not “Flagship Business.” From what I’ve read, Flagship Business usually means the long-haul product with lie-flat seats.
The seat map for my flight shows a 1-2-1 configuration and the aircraft is supposed to be a 777-200, which makes me think they should be lie-flat seats. But a lot of info online says the booking should explicitly say “Flagship Business” to be sure.
So now I’m wondering:
Is AA Business on CLT → FRA actually lie-flat, or should I reconsider the booking if I want a proper overnight business class seat?
