This is the second time I’ve booked Spirit Airlines and the second time my flight has been cancelled. The last cancellation happened just 3 hours before departure, and this time it was a week in advance.
The issue is that now all other airlines are extremely expensive, and rebooking costs around $700, which I can’t really afford. I’m frustrated because it feels like I’m just losing money when this happens.
Is there any way to get more compensation beyond just a refund when Spirit cancels a flight? Also, is there any way to actually speak to a real person to resolve this?
