Flying Spirit with my 7-year-old and trying to avoid paying extra for seat selection. Spirit says they’ll assign seats automatically if you don’t choose one, but I’m worried that could mean we end up separated.
Right now, there are no seats available that don’t cost extra. I know some airlines guarantee kids sit with an adult, but Spirit’s wording feels vague.
Has anyone actually tried this with Spirit? Do they reliably seat a parent next to a minor, or is it a gamble unless you pay?
