I am planning a trip from Delhi to Raleigh, NC on Lufthansa with two stops in Germany:

MUC → FRA (LH127)
FRA → RDU (LH408)
I hold a valid US F1 visa.
Do I need a Schengen airport transit visa for these layovers in Munich and Frankfurt, or does my US visa exempt me from that requirement?
Any clarification on whether I will need to enter the Schengen area during these connections would be helpful.
