Fast forward about two years, I ended up flying with the same airline again and was upgraded to business class, even though the cabin was fully booked and they were checking boarding passes due to an overbooking situation.
I typically fly more often with an affiliate airline (both part of the same alliance), but not this specific carrier. I’m wondering if flight attendants or airlines ever keep informal notes or records about passengers that could influence future experiences, or if the upgrade was simply a coincidence.
