I’ve heard the same rumor, that leaving negative reviews as a guest can make it harder to get accepted for future bookings. Honestly not sure if it’s true, but it does make me hesitate sometimes before writing a brutally honest review.
If that’s the case, it feels like the whole system is broken. Hosts push hard for 5 stars, and guests don’t want to risk their own rating. Makes it tough to trust the reviews at all.
